I had a great day out at Highdown Gardens last week, with some great people ^_^
The day started with me scaring a few locals with my gorgeous wig and crazy elf ears, whilst driving down the road, goodness knows what they thought of me, but never mind, there's no law against elves driving is there.
Once I'd met up with the gang, we travelled up to Highdown with two car boots full of food, which shortly after we realised was way too much for us to eat. After stuffing our faces we equiped ourselves with cameras and enjoyed a fantastic photoshoot around the gardens. We received some odd looks as well as some nice comments, someone even asked us if we were in a play.....Even so many epic photos came as a result ~Quina driving a car comes to mind~ I finally got some great photos of my Malon cosplay, as well as some funny faced ones.
After this shoot, It's got me powered up to get in gear with my costumes so we can scare the locals again with our crazy coplay antics.

Preparation for LFCC and Ayacon 2013!
I have been soooo busy lately, I've been working my new job for over 6 months now and I'm still not into the rhythm of things just yet. I've also been trying out so many different crafts that my creative mind is all over the place haha I'm still very obsessed with making costumes and have lots of plans coming up for the rest of the year. I have two conventions coming up over the next few months, first of which is LFCC and am really looking forward to it. I'm currently working on the mighty Star Wars Princess,;Leia's Senatorial gown, and have a lot to do in only a couple of weeks! eek hope I get it finished in time and figure out her funky hai
Only 10 days til Expo!
As usual I can't believe how fast time flys! It only felt like Kitacon was last week, but now its onto the my next event of the year, MCM EXPO! In 10 days time I shall be running amok around the Excel centre in London as Terra Branford (FFVI) and a Uso Girl (Captain America)!
I've been busy with work recently, but have still found time for my cosplay and photography! In fact at Kitacon I managed to take a few hundred photos! First Off, Hope everyone has a lovely Christmas this weekend and a Happy New year too ^_^
This is just a quick journal for me to reflect on my recent photography, and my new fad of photo manipulating. I'm one for Natural and Digital imaging, so and my recent work shows a mix of both.
I recently visited Bramber a local village to where i live and took some interesting shots while the sun was setting, which created some lovely silohuettes and colours in the sky. Ever since getting my new DSLR I've been quite excitied about photography and find myself wanting to run off somewhere to get some snaps, and the more i take, the better they seem to
New Camera=New Photos
Yes! I have a swanky DSLR at last!! I've been wanting one for years now, after studying photography at college i found i had a real love for it! I had an old film SLR back then which i adored but processing films is expensive and fiddly >_< and since I'm still an amateur I waste alot of shots so I thought a digital one would be useful for me to pick and choose my photos and not worry about a shoddy shot lol
I got my camera a few days before attending Ayacon 2011 (up in Coventry) which I had a blast at, and got to put my camera to the test! and that was interesting as I found out how out of practice I am at taking photos haha I didn't go too

for the overload of food. He said he was hungry thus resulting in us buying out the entire Co-Op....
It was so funny seeing you drive home though, Your ears looked so natural with your real hair too, I'd love to have seen the look on the peoples faces
